Apple's iPhone 16 Pro Max dominates in battery life test simulations
The testing agency PhoneBuff conducted rigorous battery life tests on the iPhone 16 Pro Max and the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, using robot arms to simulate daily user scenarios. Various operations were performed on both phones, including social media browsing, video playback, gaming, and map navigation. In the end, the iPhone 16 Pro Max claimed victory with an astonishing battery life of 28 hours and 14 minutes, with over 12 hours of screen-on time and 16 hours of standby time, surpassing any smartphone PhoneBuff has tested before. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra also performed well, lasting for 27 hours and 18 minutes, but it depleted its battery an hour earlier than the iPhone 16 Pro Max.
